After our 20 year relationship, I must say I was sorry when you told me that you were leaving my town. I was also surprised when you started sending me mean notes about packing up my safety deposit belongs or else. And I couldn’t understand, and still don’t quite frankly, why you cut off my credit and demanded that I pay off debt more aggressively than the initial terms even though we both knew I had an 800+ credit score. I couldn’t believe that you wouldn’t let me deposit my business checks via a mobile app and made me drive to another town to deposit them. I thought you loved me.
Now, after time to reflect, I realize that you never cared for me one way or the other. You were merely tolerating our relationship. Yet, I want to thank you. I have a new bank and they do love me. They want to make me happy and tell me how much I mean to them often. I wouldn’t know what being appreciated felt like if you had not left me to begin with. So again, thank you Citibank. I hope you find what you’re looking for.
