FML forced me to look at my own life. There have been many, many difficult events that I have had to work through. I wouldn’t change anything. The most trying times have ended up being the best for my growth as a person and have challenged me to work harder. I don’t exactly look forward to the valleys, but I can tell when they’re coming and I envision myself with a tennis racquet on the court, shifting from side to side, ready for the serve.
2014 was especially challenging on a multitude of levels. At one point we ended up in a rental home, larger than the one we sold, in a wonderful neighborhood. As we were unpacking, my mother noticed that there is a lemon tree in our backyard. We have such an abundance of lemons that we’re using them in several dishes per week. And it turns out, they have a variety of medicinal purposes. I Love my Life. Blow all you want wind, whatever is left will be better than what was before.
